Safety Director A rapidly growing engineering and industrial construction firm in Peachtree City is seeking an energetic and motivated professional to join our team as a Safety Director. The Safety Director will collaborate with executives, project managers, and job site leaders to develop and manage the safety program for Forza Group. Duties/Responsibilities: • Serving as a visible leader, coaching and motivating team members to prioritize safety • Serving as the primary contact for job site and vehicle accidents and coordinating with other team members as needed • Conducting scheduled and impromptu job site safety audits • Identifying and eliminating hazardous conditions on job sites and office locations that may lead to injury and/or property damage using standard safety guidelines • Driving cultural change and continuous improvement through the development and execution of a comprehensive safety program • Coordinating site visits with Project Managers, and Superintendents • Monitoring daily JHA’s • Assigning and monitoring monthly safety training in various platforms • Communicating with supervisors regarding outstanding safety training for their teams • Planning and leading required training sessions for team members • Evaluating PPE and uniforms to ensure compliance and cost effectiveness • Reviewing and approving Safety Manual and forms revised annually • Selecting vendors for safety products and services and negotiating service contracts • Attending training sessions to stay current on company initiatives and process changes Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to communicate with all team members clearly and effectively about safety initiatives and issues • Knowledge and skill to create and execute annual safety plans • OSHA 30 • OSHA 500 level training • First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED training • OSHA training ability such as Fall Protection, Forklift, Aerial Lift, etc. • Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel   Education and Experience: · Bachelor's Degree preferred · 5+ years’ experience in construction safety   Compensation and Benefits: · Salary - $85,000 to $115,000 base pay (depending on experience) · Company Vehicle · Health insurance · Paid time off · Dental insurance · Vision insurance · Life insurance · 401(k) · 401(k) matching · Flexible spending account · Health savings account
