Experience: 7–12 years of progressive mining engineering experience, with a strong background in mine planning and operational support.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with mine design and scheduling software (e.g., Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, MineSched) and strong knowledge of drilling, blasting, and equipment selection.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, field-based environment.
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities, capable of integrating geologic, engineering, and operational data into actionable strategies.
Professional Credentials: Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado preferred, but not required.
